The following document links and graphics were
used for the
"It Depends on Who's Counting" video series on freshwater
flow in the Delta. Please use the highlighted "Waterflow links" if you
want to go to the maps or documents at the original websites. Below
and on the other 3 pages are
links and thumbnails of many of the graphics used, all related to
waterflow into and out of the Delta over the last 100+ years: click on each
see the full view, which usually also shows the reference to the location
and document the graphic came from, our shorthand way of recognizing the
originator or author of the data. The Delta is the cornerstone
of California's huge agricultural economy, the cornerstone of
California's water distribution system, the cornerstone of California's
and the West Coast's only inland fresh water boathing and camping
recreation area, and an emerging world class wine grape growning area.
Along with the San Francisco Bay, the Delta is the cornerstone of
California's history...all centered on the water and navigation.
So water flow is the key issue in any Delta studies or plans!
Please go to the video page to
learn quickly about the different aspects or issues associated with
water flow throught the Delta.
