| Recreation in the Delta
The Delta has over 1000 miles of waterways just
perfect for family recreation like boating, fishing, swimming and
camping. Most of the articles in the last few years only talk
about the water, the levees, the battle over water rights and
protecting fish from excess water exports. What seems to be
forgotten are the hundreds of thousands of people who annually enjoy
the Delta for family vacations, week end fishing outings, and
peaceful driving day trips right in the backyard of both Sacramento
and San Francisco Bay. To get a sense of the number of marina
